Education in West Hollywood, California, outlined the desired
qualifications for a balanced nursery or grammar school class:
- A balance of boys and girls.
- Families from different racial, ethnic and socioeconomic
groups.
- The integration of different children with different
personalities, learning styles and individual needs based on
information gathered during interviews.
- Children with birthdates equally represented throughout the year.
- A mixing of first-, second- and third-born children.
